Sprinter > Climber
Training has been going great over the last two weeks and my legs are starting to come back around. The weather isn’t getting any better so I’m going to work on building better technique and power until I can start to train outside. With all the talk about the Tour of California, I’m really getting an itch for group rides and racing. On the other hand I still have tons of work to do without enough time in the day. The work tend to pile up about half way through the semester, luckily I will have some time to work freely over spring break. I will also be heading up to Boston for a conference in March, but unfortunately won’t be taking my bike. On the other hand I have a bunch of stuff to get before the season starts, and it’s a pain to shop for it. Most importantly I need a time trial helmet and really have no idea which one to get. I was leaning towards to Giro advantage 2 or Las Chrono but have never actually tired one on. Anyway I’m shooting for a Mark Cavendish finish at the PSU race this season if we could only find a decent lead out. Maybe the lone Wolf if he can keep in language clear, not sure if I want to hear about the dirty girls while racing.
