Shopping is for girls, unless its for bike parts!

Well well well, the summer is on the horizon and the road bikes are starting to be prepared for race season. I’m back training again with Duane and we always find ourselves talking about new parts and adventures for the summer season. I came up with a list of things I wanted to save for over the winter and narrowed my list down to, new road shoes, a tt helmet, and headtube spacers for the felt. So that was supposed to be my limit for the season, on top of the necessary things like tubes, tires, grease, etc. So last week Duane sends me a link to a sale at Probikes in Monroeville for this weekend. The flyer said they were offering 20% off bikes, accessories, and clothing so Duane and I decided to go check them out. We rode out there yesterday and checked out what they had. In the end we both ordered a pair of Specialized Pro BG shoes and Duane was looking at a new giant team bike. Its a nice bike and its the t-mobile edition. As we were leaving he decided to ask the owner to sell me a MTB. They made a sweet offer on a Cannondale F4 and I went home thinking if I could see the thought to my wife.
