"¡Andale! ¡Andale! ¡Arriba! ¡Arriba! ¡Yii-hah!"
Well its obvious that my endurance has suffered from non-training, and its too late to talk what-if, should have, could have, etc. I've already been through the angry, sad, and depressed stage of being dropped by noobs on bikes. I've listened to Duane nag my about my training and have rode to constantly catch Rich's wheel in the last few weeks. After talking to with Mark and reading numerous articles about transitioning back into riding, I have decided to take a new approach. My riding I'm going to stick with the group rides on Tues and Thurs, but won't worry about getting dropped, and will put in a long ride on Saturday. I'm going to aim for 100+ miles a week on the bike for now, unitl I build up enough endurance. All things considered, I will be in far better condition this year, considering I only stared riding in Aug. 2008 I was able to hang with the group in late Sep and Oct. and hope to be back in that shape by May. I'm really hoping to get alot of races in this summer and plan to blow the wheels off people. Controlling for edurance, training, and experience, I believe my spring power is my key to victory. I won't settle for third or second, and I will as my endurance gets better it will only get worse for my competition.
