A building needs a foundation to remain standing

Hmmm, I didn't think predict the outcome of todays ride, but I guess thats life. I switched my saddle today and eat a nice bowl of pasta in hope that my ride would go well. It felt good for about 3 miles until we hit the first hill then I started to suck wind and got dropped. I felt sorry for myself so I remained in the back and cried, haha. My legs must be on vaction because I cant produce any type of power on hills on flats. Mark came back and we discussed my winter training and my method of catch up training, he basically said I'm trying to build a base while trying to ride with people who already have one. So the most important thing is to get a decent base in before the race season begin. That means I might have to pass a few races early in the session and start in May. I'm going to work on setting up my bike in the right position this week and hopefully things will begin to come around. Oh by the way, I pulled a cleat off my shoe at the end of the ride, how fun!
