Awesome I just found out today that I have a slightly separated pectoral major muscle. No idea how this happened, but I don’t think it will affect my training too bad. This gets me on the topic of quitting and being a legitimate athlete. There seems to be some funny joke going around that was started by Duane and he states that I use to word “legit” a lot. No idea where he came up with this one, but I will run with it. According to the Webster dictionary;
Main Entry:
1le·git·i·mate
Pronunciation:
\li-ˈji-tə-mət\
Function: adjective
1) Conforming to recognized principles or accepted rules and standards.
Therefore if I use this word in accordance to cycling, I am asking if a person lives up to the standards that they talk about or represent. Therefore someone who says he or she is a cat one and lacks the ability to perform at that level is not legitimate. Only racing and riding with others can prove this point! On an end note; this video goes out to Duane and his soon to be retired Schwinn.
