My trainer arrived today, it took some time to get everything adjusted. It’s a rock and roll trainer by Kurt Kinetics and the mount moves to simulate the road. The bracket was a real pain to set up and I busted a few knuckles adjusting the tension for the bolts. After I finally got everything mounted, I installed the 18pd flywheel to see how much resistance it had. It could barely get the thing moving so I removed the 12pd flywheel. The trainer also came with a spin dvd, so I put it on the tv and tried a session. There were a few times that I almost dumped the bike, but overall the trainer works great. However, when I moved my trainer I noticed that the tire wore a whole through my carpet. Maybe I should adjust it mo
re then. Also I finally was able to talk to the owner of the tri bike; it seems that we have reached a deal.
