Brian and I began our trip to NJ at 3:45 Sunday morning. We set out to compete in the first NJ vs. PA 35k tt series. This was my second race on my new tt bike and my first ride on my brand new 1080 front wheel. The reach on my bike is awesome, but I’m still trying to perfect the drop between my saddle and aerobars. Finding the “right” position is like searching for the Holy Grail, so maybe I will never find it. The race went well, but I’m not sure of my overall result (to be posted). The 1080 is a monster and I was able to catch and pass three riders before the finish.
Now I’m back to the drawing board in regards to my armrest drop…..
