Going no where

I didn’t get a chance to take a ride on Friday so I thought I would jump on a bike at the HUB. They have some new spin bike with a computer screen that shows a live biker in a course. I thought I would try it out, because it had gears and everything. I choose the hard course since I figured my training is up to par. I adjusted the saddle accordingly and about 10 minutes into the ride I was having a terrible time with the positioning. The saddle was already moved to the furthest setting forward, but it wasn’t set according to a “real” road bike. Overall, I think that thing is a joke and it is a poor measure of a real ride on a road bike. I couldn’t even get the bike over 30 mph on the computer on a decent, and I know I have enough power to pass the speed. That is the first and last time I will ever use that machine and if this is any sign of what a trainer will be like, then I need to stock up on my winter gear. The picture is a great representation of my mood after the spin session.
