Adventures of the wolly bear.

I haven’t been able to get a ride in this past week. I took off Monday and Tuesday to recover and the weather limited my riding for the rest of the week. I decided to jump back on the bike today. The weather did not improve much; it was around 55 degrees with a decent wind. I decided to ride the chambersville loop which is about 40 miles. I start at my house in Clymer and road all the way to barslope road and took the right up the nasty hill. I really wasn’t warmed up at that point but I made it over. I really felt sluggish for the first half of the ride. I was able to see a lot of non-humans on the ride. First off, there was tons of those wolly bears all over the road and I can say I didn’t smash a single one. I also came across a small snake and a hand full of chipmunks. The trees are starting to change colors which really spice up the mood despite the cold air. When I reached 954 south I started to eat my kashi bar until a car creep up on me and scared it straight out of my hand. I turned around and searcher for about 4 minutes until I food it. As I made my way into Indiana, there were tons of people all over the street. I came across a hand full of people who seemed to have trouble walking, which I would assume is related to homecoming. I quickly got out of Indiana to avoid all the commotion. As I approached the airport, my left knee started to really bother me. I switched out my saddle this past week, and I must have not adjusted it right because my knee was in some severe trouble. I am thankfully, that my new frame will be coming soon. Hopefully the 54cm top tube will get rid of some problems. Overall, the ride was decent and I ended up riding 42 miles.
